Northridge Apartments, a 64-unit luxury senior apartment community, is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Property Manager to join our team.
The Assistant Property Manager position is focused on resident customer service and assists in managing the senior living community operations, leasing activity, renewals, collections, financial reporting, supplies, and communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Addresses concerns of current and prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner
Helps set the standard on how other staff members engage prospective and current residents.
Tours and leases apartments as necessary.
Helps with training staff as necessary and models effective sales techniques daily.
Leads rent collection efforts, specifically with delinquent residents, including lease termination and legal action as necessary.
Assists in managing the property's budget by making sound fiscal decisions to increase the community's net operating income. Helps maintain the accuracy of resident financial records and files. Processes community invoices as necessary.
Fills the role of the acting Property Manager in their absence and will be on call every other weekend.
Manage rent tracker and community fee deposits, prepare monthly invoices and refunds, and reconcile petty cash.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: Two (2) years of business office experience required
Computer Skills: Must be able to proficiently operate a computer, the Internet, Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, email and other relevant software, and basic office equipment; proficient in Yardi property management software or other similar property management software preferred
Certifications & Licenses: Must have a valid driver's license
Other: Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve challenges and
Requirements: conflicts; Must exhibit a high degree of concern for and patience with others; Must have the ability to utilize basic mathematic skills and be able to write routine reports and correspondence; Must have strong problem-solving skills; Must be highly organized, detail-oriented; flexible and adaptable and able to multitask; Must be able to adhere to all terms and conditions outlined in the Employee Handbook.
