The Business Development SME is responsible for providing sales support, platform knowledge, competitive research and other informational support that will allow the Sales Representatives present the best option for the client's needs as well as close the sale.Establishes plans and executes strategic activities and projects that directly support the implementation and optimization of efforts to grow segment-specific sales, revenue, profit and market share.Researches, identifies, selects best channels to improve effectiveness of coverage in the marketplace and meet the unique needs of defined customer/business segments.Has primary responsibility for identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion.Develops marketing strategies and proposes long range business plans.May negotiate with and influence management on various sales channels to provide focus or additional training to meet market objectives.Recommends and develops new initiatives and partnerships.Coordinate and project manage subject matter experts for proposal responses and program solutions.Conduct productive business meetings with clients to uncover areas of improvement.Demonstrate core values of ownership, dedication and commitment to succeed.Forecast customer demands to operations and participate in sales and operational planning.Respond to customer needs appropriate and in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

4 Year / Bachelors DegreeBachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.Prefer 2+ years of relevant work experience.Proven sales, leadership and team training skills.Able to identify the impact of events or decisions on stakeholders/customers and make recommendations.Proven ability to review all facts and weigh and prioritize the costs, benefits, risks, or chances for success on business initiatives.High degree of creativity, innovation, analytical skills, organizational skills, and self-direction in completing highly complex and diverse assignments.Able to successfully integrate both communication and problem-solving skills at an advanced level.Must be able to communicate highly complex scenarios with exceptional clarity and precision when presenting analysis or solutions to all levels within the organization.Proven experience in developing and executing sales plans through self and others.Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Experience taking a leadership role to coordinate teams of people and ensure timely project activities.Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.Understanding of Printing industry a plus.

Additional Information

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $62,800 - $111,400 annually plus a bonus plan.In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include [a sign-on bonus of $2,000], overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
