We are seeking a motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team of Command - Control (C2) Systems Engineers. As a Software Systems Integrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and other stakeholders by contributing to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) projects. These programs are vital in providing US warfighters with the intelligence they need to make informed decisions in the field.PRIMARY DUTIES - RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define middleware specificationsDesigns, develops, tests, and deploys middleware using Python and/or JavaIntegrates middleware with the GCCS-J and TAK systemsTroubleshoots and debugs issues with existing middlewareOptimizes middleware performance and ensure scalabilityStays updated with the latest platform updates and middleware development best practicesProvides leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring efficient task management and progress trackingConducts thorough code reviews and implement quality assurance practicesDevelops and implement networking solutions that enhance system performance and reliabilityIdentifies, analyzes, and resolves complex technical issues in a timely and efficient mannerMaintains comprehensive documentation of the development process and provide regular progress reports to stakeholdersClearance Information
