As a Applications Engineering Manager, you are a critical part of this mission and will oversee the applications engineering team for multiple Industrial Flow North America brands, including LEWA, Nikkiso, and Wangen, utilizing extensive pump knowledge of pump systems and applications along with leadership skills to drive technical excellence and achieve sales goals. In this role, you will use both your technical expertise and sales acumen, to focus on driving revenue growth while providing exceptional support and service to customers in various industries.You will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and be located in our corporate office in Houston, Texas.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Your Responsibilities:You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of applications engineers, ensuring they possess the necessary technical knowledge and skills, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.You will provide technical guidance and support for complex pump applications, assisting the applications team in solution development.You will stay updated on industry trends, product advancements, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and application strategiesYou will work closely with the sales team maintaining high quality data in the Microsoft 365 CRM system and collaborate with the global CRM Committee to suggest and evaluate recommendations for improvements.You will build a strong understanding of competitors products, their capabilities, how they compare to Industrial Flow products, to quote the best product for the application, and remain competitive.You will partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored pump solutions, conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations as needed.You will build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and sales representatives, understanding their needs and providing technical innovative solutions.You will work closely with the respective factories on product offerings and enhancements.You will develop systems and procedures for the department that support standardization and continuous improvement while aligning with business needs.You will organize training sessions for internal teams and customers on pump technologies and applications.You will review technically complex bid packages, summarizing requirements and making recommendations to sales team.You will collaborate across departments to provide technical expertise and insight.
