STADIUM OPERATIONS INTERN

- Pre- and post-game stadium preparation

- Help with field preparation and in-game maintenance

- In-game stadium maintenance

- Prepare for and host groups in the Hall of Fame Suite, Homer's at Third and the Party Deck

- Prepare for and host other special group outings

- Work in multiple areas; including but not limited to concessions, souvenirs, ticket operations,

50/50 sales, and on-field promotions.

- Help vendors and business guests set up, and supply needed item for their presentation

- Professionally represent the team. Meet and greet fans as they enter the stadium, through the course of the game

and as they exit

- Learn and present the history of the Burlington Bees and share with fans when and where it is appropriate

- Help organize and execute nightly promotions and theme nights.

- Help with the set-up and organization for game days and special events.

- Maintain direct communications with all gameday team members during games. React quickly and appropriately

to need and requests

- Other tasks assigned by the Front Office Staff.

- Help other team members to create & maintain marketing efforts on some Social Media platforms

JOB DESCRIPTION

Operations interns are the backbone of the organization. They are responsible for what the fans see and hear as they enter the venue. They create the first and lasting impression for our customers. Ops interns are an active part of the many facets of running a college summer baseball organization. Primary responsibilities include all elements of preparing the stadium for gamedays, friendly, professional interactions with all fans, coaches, players, and fellow staff members. Providing first-rate customer service, maintaining a clean facility that is safe and family oriented. Suggesting ways to improve our operations.

START DATE

Start in mid-May and end in the first week of August (start and finish dates are flexible).

HOURS

Full time. Non-game day during season 9-5, game days 9AM through post-game tasks. Expect to work weekends and special events.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSYour housing and all utilities are paid for. Housing is provided in Southeastern Community College's Millennial Hall resident apartments. The apartment includes pass key security, full size kitchen, internet connection and cable readiness. These are two bedroom, four bed units. The team provides a free meal each home game.

There is a $150 per month stipend.

QUALIFICATIONS

Eagerness to learn the daily ins and outs of presenting a summer collegiate league event. We're looking for talented, self-motivated hard-working individuals who want to learn what goes on behind the scenes and demonstrate the ability to apply those lessons as they grow into their careers. We value open-minded, conscientious team players possessing a positive attitude and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Must have excellent communications skills.
