THE ROLE:

SEMI fosters innovation & collaboration across the global electronics supply chain through its 15 Technology Communities, 4 Smart Initiatives, 150 committees and 15 partners offering a wealth of opportunities for business and professional growth.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive strategic technical initiatives that align with organizational goals, lead and manage collaborative projects to address critical challenges, and create new revenue-generating products and services. In addition, the Program Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, provide technical oversight and guidance, and stay updated with industry trends. This role will also include automating and improving workflows, maintaining databases, and analyzing software applications to ensure project success and optimize processes. Visit our Communities .

This is a full-time, exempt position which reports directly to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Collaboration and is based in Milpitas, CA.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning and ExecutionDrive strategic technical initiatives that align with organizational goalsProactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that ariseProduct/Service Development & Leadership

Lead, Plan & Manage Member Collaborative Projects & Working Groups (WG) to address common critical challenges and drive execution to achieve mission and deliverablesCreate new revenue-generating product and/or services offerings for the community (e.g. Assessment models, technology solution use case databases, etc.)Data Analysis & Technical Support for Collaborative Projects & ProductsStakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with key member stakeholders (as primary contact for communication)Communicate initiative and/or project vision, goals, and progress effectively to internal or external stakeholdersEngage with the SEMI Membership team to identify, recruit, and onboard new membersFoster a collaborative and high-performance team environmentTechnical Expertise

Provide technical oversight, guidance, support & insights to ensure project successStay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices into projectsContribute to member-led efforts such as roadmaps, frameworks, requirements, gap analysis etc.Analyze member-requested surveys on technical, engineering, and logistics topicsWorkflow Processes and Improvement

MS.in relevant engineering or related disciplinesSemiconductor/Electronics product development (design or manufacturing) experience (min. 3 years)3+ years' experience in technical program/project management, PMP certification a plusStrong English communication (speaking, writing, presenting) and cross-cultural skills are necessaryDemonstrated business acumen and experience on developing new revenue generating offeringsExperience with CRM (SalesForce), Microsoft Office, & Social Media (LinkedIn)Experience with website maintenance & survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc.) desired but can trainExpected travel
