Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform duties for a school district in Bridgeton, New Jersey. The PT will provide comprehensive health services, promote health education, and maintain a safe environment. Attend IEP team meetings when requested, providing input on student progress and therapy needs. Support the development of appropriate IEP goals, based on the PT's evaluations and recommendations. Collect data on student progress towards IEP goals, documenting observations and outcomes. Assist in preparing IEP progress reports for parents, ensuring timely communication about student achievements and areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with teachers and parents to share strategies and provide guidance on supporting students' physical development. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided, including session notes and progress data. Provide guidance and training to teachers and school staff on implementing therapy strategies in the classroom.
