Manager, State and Local TaxThe OpportunityWe're seeking a Manager, State and Local Tax to reduce our company's exposure to tax risks, provide high-quality tax advice, and ensure compliance. This role requires accountability, agility, business acumen, and strong communication skills. You will play a key role in state income tax compliance, non-income tax compliance, and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.The Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field8+ years of Corporate Income Tax and/or Accounting experience4+ years State and Local Income Tax experienceThe Ideal QualificationsCPA or MST highly desirable10+ years of Corporate Income Tax and/or Accounting experience5+ years state and local income tax experienceStrong analytical and project management skillsExperience in the insurance industry preferredWhat to Expect as Part of the TeamRegular meetings with the Corporate Tax teamFocused one-on-one meetings with your managerNetworking opportunities with various Business Resource GroupsAccess to learning content on informational platformsIndustry leading pay and benefits
