Associate Director, Business Operations and Excellence LeadCambridge, MAHybridOBJECTIVES:As the Business Operations and Excellence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Strategy & Business Operations Lead in the US Oncology Business Unit (US OBU) at Takeda. This role involves assisting with the US OBU strategy and enhancing capabilities that drive Takeda Oncology’s performance and operational excellence.ACCOUNTABILITIES:Business Operations and Excellence Lead, is a critical role to the success of the US Oncology Business Unit and its ability to achieve strategic goals and milestones, prioritize initiatives, activate workstreams and monitor progress to maximize value and efficiencies across the organization.This position plays a key role in the following areas:Support Leadership:Acts as the primary advisor and point person for manager by activating workstreams, initiating project plans and operationalizing above brand strategiesHelp in preparing and coordinating leadership meetings, ensuring all necessary materials and information are ready.Provide comprehensive support in decision-making processes by gathering and analyzing relevant data.Operational Excellence:Help develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiencies.Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas to streamline current processes and align with industry best practiceManages the US Oncology BU planning calendar in partnership with the US OBU colleagues reflecting the Brand and US Oncology key milestonesProactively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on problem-solving initiatives to optimize processes as well as handle day-to-day challenges.Provide project management support, including tracking key initiatives, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion, working closely with different departments as CE&I Medical Affairs, Marketing, PVA, Patient Advocacy & Engagement and FinanceAssist in cross-functional projects by coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.Aid in managing and improving systems, platforms, and workflows that support US OBUSupport roles in managing meetings, events, sponsorships, employee engagements, field, and fleet services.Leadership:Leads Employee Engagement Team to help shape US Oncology culture founded in collaboration, ideation and executional excellenceAssists with leading the US OBU Leadership Advisory Group, which is a critical cross-functional group designed to advise leadership, developing ideas, share insights and advocate for changeProactively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on problem-solving initiatives to optimize processes as well as handle day-to-day challenges.Work as conduit to leadership and the organization by connecting with colleagues, people managers and leadership about key initiatives or ideas.Communication:Keep Strategy and Business Operations Lead informed of key initiatives, developments, and progress through regular updates and reports.Facilitate communication between the Head of USOBU, US Oncology Leadership Team, and other key stakeholders.Prepare briefs, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences as needed.Budget Management:Coordinate and manage budgets and integrated project plans, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimization.Assist in financial analysis and reporting to monitor budget adherence and identify areas for cost savings.Support the preparation of annual budget planning and mid-term financial forecasting.Compliance:Ensure best practices and solutions are established to meet compliance policies and regulations.Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.Assist in conducting audits and reviews to ensure adherence to operational standards and regulatory requirements.EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field;
