Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Loan Officer Assistant to support our loan officers in Tucson, Arizona. This role is crucial for assisting with the administrative and operational tasks associated with loan processing, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mortgage industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for gathering and verifying loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing top-tier customer service to clients and stakeholders. This position requires excellent communication skills, high integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:In this role, you will:Assist loan officers in preparing and submitting loan applications.Verify and review loan documents for accuracy and completeness.Communicate with clients to collect required documentation and resolve any discrepancies.Coordinate with underwriters, appraisers, and third-party vendors.Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.Update loan officers on the status of applications and follow up on pending items.Manage multiple loan files and meet deadlines efficiently.Support post-closing activities, ensuring that all documentation is completed and compliant.Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.Assist loan officers with marketing efforts and outreach activities.Stay updated on changes in mortgage regulations, products, and guidelines.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.Knowledge of the loan application process, including FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.Note:
This position does not require National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the terms of the SAFE Act of 2008, although it is preferred.Skills & Qualifications:
Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the Internet.Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending compliance and regulatory requirements.Familiarity with CONV, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products.Ability to stay current with changes in loan programs and products.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude and problem-solving abilities.Desire to grow into a sales-oriented role.Bilingual
