Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at Insightin Health, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making and assist in developing cutting-edge modeling solutions. You will work with diverse healthcare datasets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize data analysis tools, and contribute to the success of our organization through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Processing and Analysis:
Collect, clean, and preprocess large healthcare data from various sources
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights
Conduct statistical testing and hypothesis testing to derive actionable conclusions
Data visualization and reporting:
Generate reports and summaries of results for internal and external stakeholders
Present findings in a clear and understandable manner
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings
Data Quality Assurance:
Implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or anomalies
Collaboration with cross-functional teams:
Work with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements
Translate business objectives into data analysis tasks and deliverables
Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Statistics, Data Science, or a healthcare-related discipline
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
Familiarity with basic machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques
Proven experience of data wrangling, data analysis, and statistical testing on large datasets
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience in the healthcare industry or health plan analytics is a plus
