Test Integration Engineer

TerraPower, LLC, is seeking to hire a highly motivated Test Integration Engineer. In this role, you will act as a Test Integration Engineer for TerraPower's large sodium test facility supporting the development of advanced nuclear reactor projects. The prime responsibilities include coordinating engineers working on systems, components, and testing plans for critical components, ensuring the test facility is appropriately designed to execute its testing mission.

Responsibilities:

Serve as an integration engineer supporting large component test facility design and deployment, with an emphasis on testing system design.Coordinate geographically diverse design team members to develop supporting design documentation.Develop, maintain, and refine plant level and system level requirement and specification documents.Lead design reviews and resolution of cross-functional technical concerns.Support design of instrumentation for testing, based around data acquisition control hardware and software.Develop and document test plans, test designs, and test procedures for experimental work in the large sodium test facility.

Key Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in a test engineering role.Demonstrated experience working with alkali metals in a laboratory environment.Experience in design and integration of data acquisition and control system platforms.Experience writing test plans and procedures.Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.Candidate must be a self-starter and possess ability to coordinate and lead a design team's effort with minimal direction.Nuclear experience and working under a certified NQA-1 program preferred but not required.

Motor Abilities: Sitting and standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands).Physical exertion: Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.Repetitive work: Prolonged.Work Conditions: Standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day.

Salary Range Level 10: $109,446 - $164,170Salary Range Level 11: $120,672 - $201,119

*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 - 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands.
