Director, Partnership Strategy & Service
to assist team members with the effective management, strategic planning, activation, upselling, and renewal of these accounts. The Director leads a team of three, including a Manager, Coordinator, and Assistant.
What You Will Do:
Lead and manage multiple teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel. Traditional team structureConduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and professional development sessionsProvide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them achieve their individual and team targets.Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them achieve their individual and team targets.Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them achieve their individual and team targets.Lead the preparation and negotiation of renewal proposals, securing long-term commitments from partners - with the goal of retaining 100% of desired accounts, growing those accounts in renewal at a 20% annual minimum on a YOY basis.Develop and present compelling upsell proposals to clients, demonstrating the added value and benefits.What We Need From Our Job Title:
Strong leadership skills with a minimum of three (3+) plus years of experience managing small teams and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities, with a track record of developing and implementing successful partnership strategies - particularly as it pertains to establishing and fulfilling key partner KPI's.Ability to partner with internal analytics team members to ensure team objectives are accurately reflected in reporting metrics. Consistently analyzing data and driving insights for optimization, enhancing the value and effectiveness of partnerships.Experience/ Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in account management, client servicing, or a related field within the sports or entertainment industry.5-8 years in account management with value exceeding $500,000 annual portfolio.Knowledge of the sports sponsorship industry is a plus, providing context and understanding of market dynamics - specifically on the professional team sports side.What You Can Expect:
