Senior Pricing Strategist

Responsibilities

Professionals in pricing are responsible for determining the optimal pricing strategy and pricing models for products or services within organizations. They utilize their expertise in market analysis, pricing analytics, and competitive intelligence to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer preferences, competitive landscape, and pricing trends.

Develop pricing strategies and tactics to support business objectives and revenue goals.

Analyze cost structures, pricing elasticity, and demand forecasts to set pricing levels and discounts that maximize profitability and market share.

Develop pricing tools and models to support pricing decision-making and monitoring.

Analyze pricing performance metric KPIs to track effectiveness of pricing strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to implement pricing initiatives and promotions.

Provide expertise in areas such as pricing optimization, revenue management, and data analysis to enable organizations to make informed pricing decisions, optimize pricing strategies, and drive revenue growth and profitability.

Manage multiple projects while directing the work of others to apply your expertise and experience.

Serve as the primary contact for clients on assigned projects, leveraging knowledge of clients' operations and business.

Interact with mid-level client representatives and build/utilize strong colleigal networks to improve quality, grow new business, and shape new corporate objectives.

Ability to manage uncertainty and risks in difficult situations, relationships, and problems.

Communicate, diagnose, and facilitate consensus in a variety of situations setting clear expectations for execution.

Required Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree and 11 years of relevant experience.

Experience developing or delivering price strategy presentations or analyses to Senior Leaders and key opportunity decision-makers.

Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies that take into consideration PTW targets and available pricing levers while keeping a keen eye on corporate profit expectations.

Knowledge of FAR, including FAR Part 15.

Ability to counsel product or client teams on price strategy based on historical data and competitive market assessments.

Ability to successfully support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with leading subcontractor rate negotiations that align to prime proposal pricing strategies.

Desired Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance.

Ability to support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload.

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Prior experience managing staff and/or leading teams.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range

USD $99,100.00 - USD $154,825.00 /Yr.
