The attorney will be involved in all aspects of litigation, from intake through trial or settlement, and will play a vital role in ensuring the firm's mission of delivering exceptional client care.Duties:Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial.Conduct client communication and provide updates on case developments.Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and engage in discovery.Draft and respond to motions and pleadings.Lead mediation and settlement negotiations.Develop legal strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of each case.Serve as lead attorney in jury trials and handle courtroom litigation.Ensure compliance with all legal procedures, including the Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.Requirements:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.Proven track record of leading 1st chair jury trials.Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.In-depth knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.Strong legal writing and research skills, especially in drafting and responding to motions.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Must hold a valid law license in Tennessee.Certifications:Licensed attorney in the state of Tennessee.Skills:Strong trial advocacy and litigation skills.Excellent oral and written communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Commitment to client service and delivering results.Job Location:Chattanooga, TN.Competitive compensation based on experience, with potential for contingency fee referrals.
