A law firm seeks a driven and talented Associate Attorney to join its business law team in Coral Gables, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys, providing high-stakes legal services to business owners and entrepreneurs across South Florida. The ideal candidate will assist in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in contract negotiations and legal proceedings. This position is suited for a recent law school graduate or an attorney looking to develop their skills and grow their career in a fast-paced environment.Duties:
Draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreementsWork closely with senior attorneys and paralegals to efficiently resolve casesConduct legal research and prepare for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedingsProvide legal counsel and advise clients under the supervision of senior attorneysAnalyze legal conflicts and negotiate on behalf of clientsOrganize and maintain case files, ensuring up-to-date information is accessible to the legal teamRequirements:
Strong research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and fact-finding abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environmentEagerness to learn and grow professionally under the mentorship of experienced attorneysEducation:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:
Active license to practice law in Florida or the ability to obtain oneSkills:
Proficient in legal research and document draftingStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent negotiation and client communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively on legal matters
