Conduct legal research and detailed analyses to support ongoing litigation cases.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with high precision.Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitration hearings.Manage a dynamic caseload, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and case requirements.Collaborate closely with partners on complex litigation matters, contributing to strategic planning.Engage in effective and clear communication with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other parties involved.Participate in strategy discussions and case planning to achieve favorable outcomes.Requirements
5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation within the commercial insurance sector.Proven experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigation, discovery, and client communication.Background in representing clients on insurance coverage matters involving various types of policies, such as general liability, pollution liability, marine, directors and officers, professional liability, and errors and omissions.Education
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.Certifications
Active admission to the Utah State Bar.Skills
Ability to communicate directly with clients and fellow attorneys.Strong independent work ethic with a productive and efficient approach to case management.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Skilled in decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational tasks.Sound judgment and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.Capacity to develop and implement effective legal strategies.Commitment to community involvement and engagement.Job Location
