This role involves advising financial institutions and commercial lenders in a dynamic and complex environment, developing and implementing lending and financial management strategies, and structuring transactions to safeguard clients' interests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in corporate and commercial finance, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to their work.Duties and Responsibilities:Advise financial institutions and commercial lenders on complex banking and finance matters.Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for achieving lending and borrowing goals and managing financial liabilities.Structure transactions to protect clients' commercial interests.Negotiate and document contractual relationships between lenders and borrowers.Develop and maintain strong client relationships.Interact directly with business professionals, construction and real estate experts, and other stakeholders.Work collaboratively within a high-functioning deal team to achieve successful outcomes.Requirements:1-3 years of relevant experience in banking and finance law.Strong interest in corporate and commercial finance and financial services.Current licensing or eligibility to become licensed to practice law in Nebraska.Experience with loan applications and processes.Excellent academic and professional credentials.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or eligible to become licensed.Skills:Ability to communicate complex legal matters concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing.Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a proactive attitude toward assuming increased responsibilities.Ability to examine and analyze cases and documents for legal risks.Effective analytical skills and keen attention to detail.Capability to work effectively in a team environment.Job Location:
