We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Pasadena, CA, you will assist in managing our social media presence and executing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. You must have the ability to use AI technology to create articles and content relevant to the company’s vision.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and scheduling content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and interactions.Engage with our online community and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.Research and propose ideas for social media campaigns and promotions.Collaborate with the Executive team to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns.Create and manage company social media profiles.Ability to use AI to create custom news articles and manage VillageED blogs with related content.Other related duties may be required.Requirements:
Basic understanding of social media platforms and their functionality.Strong written communication skills with an ability to create engaging content.Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (a plus, but not required).Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing.Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, a plus.Video and podcast production and multiplatform editing, is a plus.Knowledge of web and app referral traffic across social media, search and direct sources, a plus.Experience with WordPress and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, or similar software is a plus.Work Schedule:
Part-time position, approximately [16-24] hours per week.Flexible hours.How to Apply:
