Previous experience and a background within the commercial art world is not required.We welcome all individuals entering the workforce, those moving into a new stage of their career or vocation, making a change, returning to work, those wanting to learn and grow within the industry, to apply.About the Opportunity:Onboarding & Recruiting Associate | $60-65kDavid Zwirner is seeking an Onboarding & Recruiting Associate to see through the full life cycle of role from inception through the new hire’s first day. This person will interact with employees at all levels by handling their onboarding experience and introducing them to the gallery’s culture.What you’ll do:Manage the onboarding process for new hires by preparing onboarding paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, introducing new hires to company policies and culture, and partnering with IT and Operations for equipment and access needs.Handle general employee inquiries by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff resources (employee directory, staff birthdays in the Master calendar, seating charts).Support the full life cycle recruiting process with the Senior Manager of Recruitment from conception through the offer stage.Coordinating and meeting with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, posting adverts, screening resumes, and conducting/scheduling interviews.Tracking data in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), and ensuring an excellent candidate experience from start to finish.Conduct professional reference checks, process background checks, and prepare employment verification letters.Prepare offer letters and independent contractor agreements.What we would like you to have:Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area preferred.2-3 years of Human Resources or related experience, preferably in a gallery, museum, or comparable arts organization.Ability to analyze large quantities of data while multitasking across multiple projects.Strategic thinking, exceptional interpersonal skills, self-motivated and solutions-focused approach.Detail oriented, impeccable written and verbal communication skills.Capable of working flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.What you will love about David Zwirner (benefits):Premier Access
