The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.THE ROLEInsomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Coordinator to join the Talent Department. The Talent Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate various Talent department functions, tasks, processes and projects. This position reports to the Head of Talent. This is not a remote position and requires to be in office and on site at various event and office locations.RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and administer all performance contractsEnsure that timelines and milestones are followed and metFacilitate effective communicate between the various talent agencies, talent department and insomniac counselSupport team in maintaining internal database system of offers, talent grids, confirmations and other documents to develop extensive knowledge of and involvement of various processesMonitor, maintain and timely update all internal talent buying documents and gridsCoordinate build and timely distribution of all yearly plansCoordinate monitoring of all yearly plan progress and facilitate data inputCoordinate collating artist performance dataCoordinate with various event ticket countsCoordinate information distribution to all agenciesCoordinate data organization and management within Notion, Dropbox and other database platformsOversee a variety of administrative tasks including high volume calendar management; resolving expense reports and handling communication correspondenceArranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendasLiaise with all international partners to help administer and control talent paymentsExecute other day to day tasks and special projects as asignedQUALIFICATIONS1+ years of experience with project coordination and/or administrationExperience as an assistant; entertainment industry preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OutlookStrong communication skills both verbal and written and must be able to actively and attentively listenExperience booking high volume travel in the US and InternationallyAble to adapt quickly to national and international time zones/culturesPassion and knowledge of Electronic Dance Music is a mustMust be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitudeMust be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and smallMust have clean criminal and driving record, current license, passport, and car insuranceWORK ENVIRONMENTProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerProlonged periods of standing in the warehouse at a mobile desk while tracking trucksMust be able to lift up to 20 pounds at timesMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to frequently work and travel to events during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work eventsApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.Hourly Pay Rate Range: $22.00 - $26.00 USDEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYInsomniac strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.HIRING PRACTICESThe preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
