SPECIALTY: SURGERY-CARDIOTHORACIC LOCATION: Pennsylvania, Altoona JOB TYPE: Locum Tenens JOB NUMBER: 47794DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a cardiac surgeon to cover cases and on-call duties when our primary surgeon is on vacation or needs weekends off. Typically, we need coverage for two long weekends a month (Thursday-Monday) and any additional stretches for PTO or holidays. Coverage is required for consecutive days only. This is a great opportunity to earn supplemental pay or extra money for the holidays, while also building your case logs. 24 hr. shifts Thursday- Monday (7a-7a) Hotel call (no more than 30-minute response time for calls. Typical Cases Seen: Bread and butter Cardiac cases.
