Advise high-net-worth clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax planning strategies.Independently draft complex estate planning documents.Manage large-scale wealth planning projects and ensure timely execution.Collaborate with clients' external advisors, including financial planners, accountants, and tax professionals.Provide legal counsel on matters involving trusts, estates, and tax planning.Communicate effectively with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their wealth planning goals.Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience in high-net-worth wealth planning.Extensive experience in estate, gift, and GST tax planning strategies.Independent drafting experience in estate planning.Strong project management skills and ability to handle large client matters.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to interface with clients and collaborate with their outside advisors.Law firm or accounting firm experience preferred.Experience or completion of a related LL.M. program preferred.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admission to and good standing with the California Bar.Skills:
Strong legal research and writing skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to complex legal matters.
