Job Function: Work Scheduling and DispatchAbout the role

Location: Warwick and South EastAccountable for optimisation, prioritisation, resourcing and scheduling of the Operational plan within current year timescales. You will help to optimise campaign time on sites bundling work (outage & non-outage) to ensure the most effective use of time for Operational Staff and area targets are met.What you'll be doing

Support the Planning & Performance Manager and Network Strategy & Operations in building a deliverable Tactical Plan.Ensure area non-outage work allocation is accounted for in the tactical year ahead plan.Escalate work not delivered/planning action from Operational timescales into the tactical plan build.Provide updated standard job times and unit costs into the Tactical plan build.Allocate trained and competent resource into the Tactical Plan.Track work delivery for the zone and assist the Planning and Performance Manager with reporting on deliverables as required i.e NARMS, WSE’s etc.Ensure Outage and Non-Outage Maintenance Compliance targets are met.About You

Minimum ONC (GNVQ level 3) in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline or the relevant experience in a previous role.Knowledge of the Planning Processes and Systems e.g. Ellipse, Click Schedule, WORTS, Delivery Workflow Tool (DWT) and Single View of the Plan (SVOP) etc.Able to allocate resource requirements in line with utilisation and commercial targets using standard job times.Knowledge and understanding of network operational restrictions when taking outages.Ability to bundle work during delivery including outage and non-outage.A good understanding of Asset Maintenance policy and application.Full UK driving license.What you'll get
