Who you are:
As a
BI Systems Administrator,
you are our data configurator, ensuring every server is stable and built with integrity, caring and excellence. You'll play an important role in the creation, implementing, and testing of processes to ensure the quality and stability in every system. You'll use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that the applications are performing optimally and meet our high standards. You are not afraid to ask the question why and thrive in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do
:Install and configure software components and maintain the most updated version supported by vendor.Monitor the health status and performance of the servers and troubleshoot infrastructure-related problems as they arise.Define and architect best practices for the BI tool's infrastructure, coordinating operational design and supporting daily platform operations.Provide daily operational support for the application, including managing import schedules and implementing the overall operating model.Automate and deploy alerts to monitor and adjust configuration settings.Design and develop framework packages to support new reporting requirements from the business.Implement security by creating users, groups and object securities for groups.Monitor licensing for production usage, alerting management when changes are required.Create and test processes for the backup and recovery of data and BI applications.Partner with other IT and business departments to enable data usability, quality and protectionAct as a liaison between third-party technical support and internal users to resolve software defects.Always Take Action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you'll need: :
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data AnalyticsStrong knowledge of data governance tools such as CollibraStrong knowledge of BI tools such as Cognos Analytics or TableauExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft computer applicationsAdditional Preferred Skills:
Ability to partner with Data Governance team to define and deliver data governance capabilities to enable data usability, quality, and protectionSolid understanding of Data Governance principles, data lineage, metadata management and workflowsExperience in using Data Management to manipulate and integrate databases with SQL, SAS, or other languages.Our Benefits:
