About the role:As a Senior Accountant at TD SYNNEX, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical support and developing complex reporting for specific functional areas, departments, or divisions. Your proactive approach will help identify and recommend solutions to various business issues. You will represent your assigned area/department in strategic projects, including system conversions, upgrades, and business process changes. Your expertise in accounting and analytical skills will be essential in supporting some of our largest BE rebate vendors, focusing on program setup, forecasting, accruals, reconciliations, and payment applications.What You'll Do:Develop and work with models to analyze new business opportunities, efficiency initiatives, and other critical business issues

Conduct cost/benefit and ROI analyses to support informed decision-making processes.

Provide ad hoc analyses for management to guide strategic decisions.

Oversee systems applications, including user management, profile setups, account access, security, and troubleshooting.

Compile and load data received from other departments using advanced spreadsheet and database applications.

Assist and occasionally lead the team in preparing for management reviews and budgeting activities as required.

Ensure the accuracy of reported numbers and maintain management reports for effective distribution.

Develop and coordinate robust testing plans for new enhancements to ensure functionality and reliability.

Create and refine basic to complex models for analyzing new business opportunities and efficiency initiatives.

Test and maintain management reports to ensure they remain accurate and relevant.

Develop and lead presentations and training sessions for team members and stakeholders.

Consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Approximately 3-15 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Systems Analyst III.

Ability to work independently, seeking out objectives and completing them with minimal management input.

Skilled in initiating projects, setting timelines, and managing expectations effectively.

Strong ability to analyze data to recommend business solutions and identify new sources of business data.

Proficient in forecasting the impact of solutions and implementing the best options.

Capable of measuring the impact after implementation and adapting solutions as necessary.

Apply broad knowledge and experience to address complex issues and define strategic objectives clearly.

Ability to make sound, timely decisions while balancing strategic and tactical goals.

Balance strategic and tactical goals and objectives.

Understand corporate objectives at all levels of the organization.

Proficient in intermediate/advanced Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; capable of automating report development using macros.

Effectively interact with all levels of management and facilitate group interactions.

Display a professional level of assertiveness and high level of self-confidence.

Capable of creating and conducting formal presentations.

High level of "self starting" thinking required for analysis, evaluation, creating, reasoning, and drawing conclusions/solutions

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
