The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:Providing care for patients in the satellite offices in Westwood, Foxboro, and Chestnut Hill locations
Telephone Triage of OB and GYN Patients
Communicating with and providing nursing care to OB and GYN Patients via Patient GatewayBirth Control Counseling
Nurse Visits to administer injections and/or provide patient education on OB and GYN topics
Performing Fetal Non-Stress tests
Outpatient Cervical Ripening
Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

QualificationsTo qualify, you must have:
Education:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required for newly licensed nurses.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience is required.
Experience in electronic fetal monitoring over the last year is required.
Clinical OB nursing experience over the last year is required.
Clinical GYN nursing experience over the last 2 years is required.Nursing experience in an ambulatory clinic/practice setting is required.Bilingual is preferred.
Other:
Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is preferred.Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDThe RN must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients. Must demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities. Must be able to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.
WORKING CONDITIONSWorks in a variety of patient care environments where there may be exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials such as chemotherapeutic agents, radioisotopes, and radiation. Work entails walking and lifting. Lifting, Pushing and Pulling Policy Statement (effective 3/7/20111): The Department of Nursing has adopted the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)-recommended maximum weight limit of 35 lbs. for lifting, and a reasonably comparable standard for pushing and pulling, as part of the physical requirements for this position.EEO Statement
