Senior Network Architect

DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Network Architect to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our NGEN-R program, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of network communications, architecture, security controls, and configuration. You will have the opportunity to work on the largest IT services program for the Navy, supporting the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.What You'll Get to Do:Design and implement network architecturesCreate and update network architecture diagrams and configuration bundlesInitiate software upgrades and changes to the NGEN-R system and communications infrastructurePerform troubleshooting, repair, and removal/replacement of faulty hardwareSupport Cybersecurity requirements and implementation of security controlsCoordinate network upgrades and planned maintenance activitiesProactively monitor network systems and identify potential issuesYou'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred with at least 5 years of related experienceMust be U.S. Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret security clearanceCurrent IAT Level II Certification5+ years' experience troubleshooting complex routing and switching issuesAbility to travel up to 25%These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Top Secret Security ClearanceAdditional vendor certificationsITIL certificationsPay Range: $40 - $50 Hourly RateSMIT-NMCI
