Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Marketing, the marketing leader will help develop and deliver Revolution Medicine’s marketing plans for the company’s lead RAS(ON) programs in preparation for anticipated launches.

You will work within the Commercial team to define the marketing strategy and lead critical marketing activities on the Commercial roadmap. Examples of future-focused projects include market development strategy and activities, brand personality and logo development, HCP asset planning and development, digital media strategy and planning, and overall launch readiness activities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a commercial marketing perspective on clinical, medical affairs, and market access initiatives. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.

Responsibilities:

Operate as an ambassador of the company, establishing the organization as a trusted member of the healthcare community to all relevant stakeholders (Patients, HCPs, Payers, Policy makers, Industry peers).

Establish vision for the lifecycle of the brand with portfolio considerations.

Lead the development of effective strategic and promotional plans, and shape strategy to align with the overall launch, full brand, and portfolio strategy.

Develop, prioritize, and implement market development efforts that deepen awareness of unmet needs and address knowledge gaps among customers, laying the foundation for a successful product launch.

Leverage a strong understanding of oncology healthcare customers, including providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders, to inform the go-to-market approach that drives customer behavior change and market performance.

Develop KPIs and continually assess performance; analyze market, customer, and competitor trends, incorporating insights into marketing strategies and plans.

Partner closely and provide direction to cross-functional groups (e.g. Analytics & Insights, Medical Affairs) to inform the development and implementation of integrated strategic plans.

Independently and credibly represent the Commercial Development and Marketing organizations on cross-functional workstreams and initiatives, ensuring appropriate alignment with launch and marketing strategies.

Lead prioritized execution plan across key marketplace stakeholders, e.g., HCPs, Patients, Advocacy, Health System, or other Business Partners, as needed.

Operate as a leader to facilitate cohesive commercial collaboration.

Lead critical cross-functional workstreams to ensure launch success.

Ensure management of partner agency of record relationships, workflow, and budgets.

Ensure strategic and tactical plans meet compliance and regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Deliver marketing operating expenses within budget.

Travel as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree required with at least 6-8 years of progressive commercial experience in a biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical company including global strategic marketing and ideally sales.

Successful history of developing and executing the marketing strategy.

Experience building and integrating new capabilities that are relevant to launch success.

Demonstrated ability to derive insights/analytics leading to the development of innovative marketing strategies.

Strong leadership, with the ability to work well cross-functionally and influence across an organization at all levels.

Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.

Ability to represent Revolution Medicines well externally: strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.

Entrepreneurial mindset, with a tolerance for ambiguity, and a passion for helping cancer patients.

Preferred Skills:

Launch and customer-facing experience.

Experience with targeted oncology products.

Experience in a smaller, rapidly growing company.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000 to $253,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the minimum and maximum salary for the position in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
