Philanthropy Northwest now seeks its next CEO to chart an organizational vision that recommits the power of philanthropic networks to evolve practice and examine power to transform philanthropy’s role in support of community. PNW has made the shift from a traditional membership association to growing a vibrant and dynamic network that strives for racial equity and accountable community impact. It spans a broad and diverse geography and provides a new CEO the unique opportunity to shape the future of philanthropy across a multi-state region. The new CEO will be drawn to the opportunity to reimagine PNW’s business model and structures to reflect its core organizing values and leverage its unique position of having an embedded consulting practice as part of its programmatic offerings and tools to shape the sector. The new CEO will embody and bring demonstrated experience developing equity driven practices and accountable community impact with a sophisticated vision for the role philanthropy can play in supporting thriving communities through connection, learning, and innovation. They will expand fundraising, diversify revenue streams, and embrace the unique challenges and opportunities in managing and leveraging the power of a consulting practice within a nonprofit. The CEO will be a seasoned team leader who nurtures a collaborative culture in a mission-driven environment and has a passion for the diverse geographies and communities represented in the Northwest.
