We are seeking a qualified attorney to support the company with title examination and other title-related matters. This is a remote role for an attorney licensed in one or more of the following states: Delaware, Mississippi, Nevada, Minnesota, Indiana, or Connecticut.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGExamining public records, abstracts of titles, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine land ownership and lien position of residential propertyDrafting legal documents regarding property ownership and opinions on titleInterpreting and providing advice on title-related issuesReviewing and assisting with title claimsResearching deed, filing, and other title-related legal requirementsCommunicating with title companies regarding processing and procedural issuesEnsuring compliance with UWM policies and proceduresEditing legal documents for accuracyProviding support and assistance to members of the Legal teamWHAT WE NEED FROM YOUMust-Have Qualifications:Admission to the State Bar in one of the following states: Delaware, Mississippi, Nevada, Minnesota, Indiana, or Connecticut.
