We are an established CPA firm with 8 locations and more to come. We are seeking a full-time CPA with at least 10 years of tax season experience in a tax firm. This is an in-office position. Remote workers need not apply.Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the preparation and filing of all federal and state income tax returns, including but not limited to:Tax PreparationReview workExtensionsE-filingMust be able to review 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 990 returns and their corresponding tax schedules efficiently and accurately.Multistate tax return preparation required.Coordinate with the Training Manager on training for tax preparation staff.Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to staff members.Provide tax guidance and support to staff members.Manage the staff members that are direct reports to the Tax Manager.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required (Master’s degree preferred).CPA designation is required (this is a must).Must have 10+ years of tax season experience in a tax firm.Skills:
Solid understanding of federal and state tax laws.Lacerte experience is preferred but not required.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to leave behind personal ego and treat others with kindness and respect.Job Type:
