Regional Marketing Manager (Senior Advisor), Medicare (TX/OK/AZ) - Remote
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Regional Marketing, this role will have accountability for driving regional marketing plans across the West markets (existing and expansion). This role will be responsible for the execution of market level plans that contemplate full channel marketing as well as customer growth opportunities and retention goals.
This role will partner closely with local market leadership and stakeholders to ensure that the regional marketing plans are aligned to market level business strategies and have an overarching lens of the Medicare net growth opportunity with key considerations for optimization and efficiencies for the comprehensive business strategy. Critical in this role will be defining the opportunities of incremental value we can provide in our current structure while finding areas to reinvest best practices. Timely escalation of barriers to success along with identification of potential solutions, and providing concise and timely reporting tailored to appropriate stakeholder audiences is an important accountability.
Additionally, success in this role will include developing and implementing processes to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, compliance with Federal, State and local regulations, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for regional marketing plans, inclusive of
Material versioning of materials and timely execution of strategies set by market and channel leadership.
Review and present appropriate requests for localized opportunities.
Act as a key conduit with the channel marketing specialties (broker, provider, affinity and enterprise marketing).
Drive community awareness at the regional level that is long-term scalable to support the growth of micro and macro markets.
Act as key conduit with the Community Marketing Manager to develop and maintain community partnerships that introduce select broker partners and employed agents to the local audience.
Evaluate learnings from existing and prior campaigns and work to create effective strategies optimized to drive awareness and consideration.
Manage metrics for all business activities, measure results, and capture the learnings for continuous improvement.
Aid in creation of baseline market assessment: competitor analysis, industry structure, target segment needs assessment, sizing and segmentation, demographics, distribution channel analysis, and regulatory scan.
Work collaboratively with multiple levels of business unit teams, including sales leaders, market leaders, and segment marketing leaders.
Communicate marketing priorities throughout assigned geography.
Participate in annual bid process; identify new opportunities, products, and trends and communicate those back up to greater marketing organization.
Stay current on consumer, competitor, and product insights; utilize insights to share strategy.
Grow deeper level of market and competitive insight through market reviews and competitive intelligence gathering on all impacted features of market offerings.
Ideal candidates will offer:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or equivalent discipline.
5-10 years of relevant marketing experience.
Experience in developing and executing against marketing plans.
Ability to build collaborative and consultative relationships with sales and local market stakeholders.
Curious and inquisitive nature that loves to think from the consumer’s point of view.
Experience in balancing strategy within the realities of operational parameters.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment.
Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines.
Proven ability to lead in a heavily matrixed environment.
Ability to foster collaboration and value others' perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of projects.
Serves as a category, consumer, competitor, and product expert/voice to enable strategy for the segment and the region.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presence.
Excellent attention to detail.
Health care/Health insurance/Medicare experience preferred, or experience working in a highly regulated industry.
Flexibility to work across different time zones.
Ability to travel as required for meetings and events (roughly 10-15%).
Work from home - AZ, TX, or OK preferred but other locations will also be considered.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 106,700 - 177,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
