The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, families, trustees, and professionals to navigate complex issues related to disability law, elder law, estate planning, and probate. The firm offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.Duties:Advise clients on estate planning, guardianships, trusts, and probate matters.Guide individuals, families, and professionals through guardianship processes and trust administration.Advocate for clients in disability and elder law cases, including benefit advocacy and related disputes.Collaborate with trustees and other professionals to develop and implement legal strategies.Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining strong communication with clients and colleagues.Prepare legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate filings.Remain updated on changes in disability law, elder law, and estate planning regulations.Provide excellent client service, ensuring a compassionate and professional experience throughout legal proceedings.Requirements:Admission to practice law in Washington State (required).Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a licensed attorney, with experience in estate planning, probate, guardianship, or trusts preferred.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.Ability to think critically and remain effective under pressure while managing multiple cases.Collaborative team player, with the ability to work independently when needed.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Washington State (required).Skills:Expertise in estate planning, guardianships, trusts, and probate matters.Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and legal time and document management software.Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Long-term and short-term disability insurance.Life insurance coverage.Paid time off (PTO) and 401(k) retirement plan.A supportive, team-oriented work environment with a focus on work-life balance.Location:Seattle, WAThis position offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney passionate about serving clients in disability, elder law, and estate planning.
