AWS Infrastructure Engineer

Open Systems Technologies Corporation is looking for a systems administrator/engineer to work on an AWS infrastructure team. The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret security clearance and will work hand-in-hand with technical and program management leadership to help implement the next generation desktop and web-based production and dissemination system. This position will require experience standing up and maintaining Windows Servers in a cloud environment, and the deployment and maintenance of custom code, COTS, and GOTS to those environments.ResponsibilitiesThis position involves leading systems administration activities that support building and delivering new and innovative systems to implement analytics, exploitation, production and dissemination using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies. Duties will include building Windows instances, performing deployments to multiple dev, test and operational environments, patching, troubleshooting, and working with internal and external development teams as well as enterprise components.Required Skills:Clearance:
Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain & maintain a Polygraph post-hireRequires BS degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degreeDoD 8570 complianceExperience with cloud/Amazon Web services (AWS)Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating SystemsSystem (hardware, software and networking) Design and Architecture.Understanding of agile SW development methodologiesProactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing.
