Investor Relations Director We are looking to expand our team by adding an Investor Relations Director, who will be responsible for engaging advisors and investors, developing new partnerships, and managing relationships with all existing personnel. The Investor Relations Director will report to one of the firm’s Managing Partners.
Responsibilities:
Fundraising:
Preparation of all marketing materials and data room.
Management of the fundraising process, from identifying potential investors and advisors, running the diligence process, to allocation and legal close.
Development of new advisor and investor relationships:
Identify, build and develop appropriate potential new relationships.
Educate potential new candidates on the firm’s investment strategy.
Represent the firm, as appropriate, at investor forums to build potential new relationships.
Account management of existing investors:
Prepare and manage quarterly reporting process.
Host ongoing meetings – onsite and on the road – to ensure advisors and investors are well informed on the funds’ progress.
Engage the firm’s Managing Partner and General Partners where appropriate to help maintain relationships.
Work with finance and legal teams to respond to ordinary course investor inquiries.
Oversee content development for the firm’s annual meeting.
Qualifications:
At a minimum 5-7 years of investor relations experience in a private equity fund.
A demonstrable set of relevant institutional investor relationships.
Proven ability to develop and present investor materials (both in written form and in-person presentations), build new relationships, and account manage existing relationships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where time is of the essence and responsiveness to often short timelines to execute transactions is required.
Impeccable integrity and strong team orientation.
Willingness to travel as required for relationship development/maintenance and fundraising activities.
