RESPONSIBILIITES:

Create and manage all food and beverage budgetsDrive food and beverage profitsHire, train, and schedule all food and beverage staffManage banquet functionsWork closely with the sales department on catering contractsWeekly distribution of BEOsConduct proper inventory of all food and beverage area weeklyEnsure proper brand standard presentations during all meal timesManage updates to published materials related to food and beverageProper daily inspection of main kitchen, restaurant, buffet area, and meeting rooms to ensure cleanlinessAll other duties as assignedCOMPETENCY:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software and internet.
