Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA onlyYears of Experience: 1 year StepdownFloat Requirements: as needed, to a similar or lower acuity unitMust Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Stepdown, inpatient only; Trach/Vent experienceSchedule Information
Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:30Weekend Hours: As required by facility / every other weekendCall Requirements: NoneUnit Specific Information
Number of Beds: 22Patient Ratios: 1:3/4Equipment: TRACH, VENT, VAPO, BIPAPEMR: EPICType of Patients on Unit: Respiratory failure, ETOH, Overdose, GI Bleed, Electrolyte Imbalance, COPD, CancerAdditional Details
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
