Team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex cloud operations for cutting edge microservice based platforms. On this team you will solve complex problems and work alongside talented DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Agile Delivery Leads, and Technical Product Managers who have a passion for driving innovation in mobility, safety, and convenience services. We love people who think big and like to get their hands dirty to help us build exciting initiatives.

Responsibilities: • Manage, evolve, and build CI/CD pipelines. • Maintain, support, and build out infrastructure and services currently operating on AWS. • Creatively solve technical issues. • Deliver solutions in a complex environment including distributed systems and applications. • Assist in building world-class, multi-cloud capable, state-of-the-art products by: • Automating build processes • Incorporating static code quality tools • Helping identify code promotion qualities • Utilizing and promoting the use of advanced deployment patterns like Canary and Blue/Green • Building highly resilient cloud eco-systems capable of high availability and scale • Deploying to public cloud providers like AWS • Developing and maintaining applications that use Docker containers, Kubernetes as an orchestrator, or as full VMs with base images.

Required Qualifications: • 1.5+ years of production experience working as a DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer • Experience authoring infrastructure as code using Terraform • Hands on experience in cloud computing using AWS • Experience building and running containers • Experience writing and automating tasks using shell scripting • Experience working in a team oriented, Agile software engineering environment • Experience in CI/CD with technologies such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar • Demonstrates problem-solving, troubleshooting, decision making skills • Solutions-oriented with an ability to keep an open mind while finding agreeable solutions • Organized and detail-oriented • Ability to develop healthy working relationships and collaborate with peers and leaders • Exhibits integrity and high standards in work quality • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Values diversity and differences amongst individuals in interactions

Added Bonus if you have: • Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes • Experience with Amazon EKS, Helm, and/or Kustomize • Experience with GitLab CI • We think the knowledge acquired earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science would be of great value in this position, but if you're smart and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent trumps degree every time
