Job SummaryThis Test & Turn Up engineer is responsible for Comcast Business (CB) HQ, and a portion of Division (OFFNet only) Test and turn-up of new Metro Ethernet fiber circuits in a commercial services environment. Deploying Metro Ethernet network configurations as well astroubleshooting complex connection issues in all regions of the Comcast Business Enterprise Services network. The Engineer 2 will work as a part of a highly specialized Metro Ethernet Network Test and Turn Up (TTU) engineering team, in an inbound/outbound Contact Center environment. Focused on resolving all first-contact issues and escalations for CB largest customers in an organized and timely fashion. They are responsible for support of Federal Government (FEDGov), Sate Government (CALNET, CALTRANS), CB Customers, Project Managers, and Field Service Technicians. They will work directly with LEC's, OFFNet and Cell Back Haul Carriers to test and verify those circuits. This position requires the ability to interpret large amounts of complex data, along with network designs, core devices like Juniper, Nokia, Ciena and Cisco. Effectively troubleshoot issues, identify order readiness for testing, access numerous applications, systems and databases to provide status updates and resolution details in accordance with established policies and procedures. They are also required to contribute to their cross-functional team and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. They will be capable of determining their own work priorities throughout the day depending on phone volume, work task queues, and special project timelines.

Salary:Primary Location Pay Range: $33.57 - $50.35Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
