Certification Details BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Certifications must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Job Details 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility but do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission. If RTO is not included in the submission form and is added post confirmation, the agency risks removal from the PHS vendor set. No exceptions When submitting candidates include references, a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 2 years experience current required in large PACU. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during the first week of assignment. Schedule Information Varied shifts with flexibility to start 30 min earlier depending on the schedule, Monday - Friday. Call responsibility shared between 4 RN's, 30 minutes call response. Call Monday - Friday 3p-7a. Weekend requirements: Yes, 24 call Saturday and Sunday rotating if on call. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Additional Details NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS. (updated 10.10.2024) Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location. State tax is passed through to the agency and will be reflected on the invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
