in our Orlando office.
3D Modeler II
Assists in planning, designing, developing, and testing art and models for new products, customer demonstrations, and program development.
Key Areas of Responsibility :• Develop art and models using current industry techniques, standards, and processes.• Transforms initial rough CAD designs into working geometry for simulation.• Creates models in accordance with customer requirements and engineering design constraints.• Acts a liaison between Art Department and Engineering Department for art content.• Applies new modeling development techniques across development teams to increase productivity.• Makes innovative team contributions that improve the overall team performance and improve customer satisfaction.• Continuously learns new concepts and is recognized as an expert in certain domains• Continuously implementing improved individual and team processes and art/model creation through technical innovation.
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Art, Visual Language, Digital Media, Graphic Design, related degree or equivalent experience. 4 or more years experience building 3D models. Experience with CAD as well as 3D Studio Max, Maya, or similar software.
Physical Requirements :• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.• Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.• Travel may be required.
