Solaris HealthCare is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our team!

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule healthcare staff,including nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, and other clinical andnon-clinical personnel, to ensure appropriate coverage for all shiftsEvaluate staffing needs based onresident/patient acuity, census, and regulatory requirements, and adjustschedules accordinglyCommunicate staffing needs, shift changes, andscheduling updates to staff members, managers, and administrators in a timelyand effective mannerCoordinate with staffing agencies and temporarystaffing services to fill open shifts and maintain adequate staffing levelsduring peak demand periods or staff shortagesVerify credentials, certifications, andlicensure for all staff members and ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and organizational policiesMonitor and track employee attendance,tardiness, and time-off requests, and maintain accurate records of worked hoursand overtimeAssist in managing staffing budgets bymonitoring labor costs, overtime expenses, and agency staffing expendituresAssist in scheduling and coordinating stafftraining sessions, orientations, and in-services to ensure ongoing compliancewith regulatory requirements and quality standardsMaintain accurate and up-to-date employeerecords, scheduling databases, and staffing reports using electronic schedulingand workforce management systemsAddress staffing issues, conflicts, andscheduling concerns in a proactive and timely manner, collaborating withdepartment managers and human resources as neededStaffing Coordinator Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in healthcare staffing,scheduling, or workforce management preferredStrong organizational and time managementskills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple competingprioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff members, managers,and external vendorsProficiency in computer applications andscheduling softwareKnowledge of labor laws, regulations, andhealthcare staffing requirementsAbility to work independently and as part of ateam in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAttention to detail and accuracy in data entryand record-keepingFlexibility to adapt to changing staffing needsand schedulesCommitment to maintaining confidentiality andadhering to ethical and professional standardsEnrolled in a State approvedCertified Nurse's Aide training program and complete that certified testingwithin 120 days of employment (preferred) or active Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)
