Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst
Department: Corporate Tax
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Analyst will play an important role in supporting the U.S. income tax compliance, quarterly estimated taxes and the income tax provision with a fast-paced, global medical device organization. In addition to working directly with the Tax Manager on domestic tax reporting and compliance matters, the Senior Tax Analyst will work cross-functionally with business units to consult on tax matters and support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
•Assist in the preparation and timely completion of the U.S. tax returns and related documents in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
•Prepare tax calculations, estimates and payments, including quarterly and annual tax provisions and various tax computations.
•Manage the tax compliance calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with tax team.
•Support the R&D tax credit process and work internally and with R&D specialists to document qualified expenditures.
•Prepare and file U.S. indirect tax filings, including use, property, and gross receipt taxes.
•Assist with a broad range of tax related special projects.
•Assist with federal and state tax audits. Respond and resolve tax notices.
•Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation to support tax positions and compliance efforts to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404.
•Research tax issues and draft memorandum to ensure compliance with relevant income tax laws.
•Attend professional development and training sessions to stay current with tax legislative matters and technical issues.
•Prepare tax analyses, analytical support, and other assistance with special projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
•3-5 years in a global corporate tax environment or public accounting firm with SEC experience.
•Experience with preparing corporate income tax return workpapers and filing U.S. federal and state income tax returns.
•Strong excel skills
Skills and Competencies:
•CPA and/or MST preferred.
•Experience with ASC 740 accounting for income taxes is a plus
•Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
•Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
•Skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships across the organization.
•Problem solving capability to address discrepancies and find effective solutions.
•Able to work independently and as part of a team.
•Experience with tax-based research tools.
•Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Alteryx, and SAP ERP, a plus.

Additional Information:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $78,800.00 - $118,400.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
