**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:**
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience
**License:** Licensed candidates are preferred, but temporary work authorization may be accepted with proper licensure obtained within the deadline.
**Certifications:** PALS and BLS required
**Must-Have:**- Pediatric step-down level of care experience- Trach and ventilator experience- General pediatrics experience accepted- Experience with home ventilators (EVO, Astral, and LTV)
**Job Description:**- Four weekend shifts required per six-week schedule period, approximately 8-10 per contract- Option available for blocked weekend scheduling- Work in a long-term care unit where many residents stay for extended periods post-transfer from intensive care units- Some residents stay briefly for family training- Residents are active during the day with school, therapy, and community activities- Night shifts resemble step-down unit care for inpatients- Unit contains 32 occupied beds- Over half the residents have trachs and nearly half are ventilator dependent- All residents have gastric tubes- Prefer candidates with BSN and EPIC charting experience- Candidates must be willing to float within scope if needed- Modules to be completed during orientation, averaging 6 hours- Must comply with natural nail policy in the workplace- Flu vaccine required with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only
