Overview

Adult PHP and IOP

We have a new position available for an

Outpatient psychiatrist for our PHP program.

It would be PT hours but would grow as we increase census and add IOP early next year. This position would require 20-30 hours per week. Tower Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatrist with broad interest in the continuum of care. We also have several positions available for weekend, evening, and overnight coverage. The region offers excellent schools, colleges, parks, affordable housing, and a low cost of living. You will enjoy country living with easy accessibility to major metro areas, such as Philadelphia, Washington DC and New York City.

Responsibilities

Summary:Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.Maintain confQualifications

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred.Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.Licenses/Certifications:

Board certification in psychiatryCurrent DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
