Commercial Lines Account Manager

assists in the production, support and retention of commercial lines accounts. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, additional responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Secure and submit required renewal underwriting informationRenew coverage, remarket/rewrite existing accountsQuote and propose expansion or new businessMake customer requested changes or cancellations and process related change requests and confirmationsProcess Certificates of InsuranceReceive claims information and report claims to companiesMake claims follow up with customersAdvise Clients of coverage and options, solicit increases in coverage, resolve issues on behalf of the Client/and or CarrierProperly document all account activity and client/company communicationAnderson Insurance Associates is an employee-owned organization with over 40 years of service to South Carolina residents. Our benefits for all full-time team members include primary health insurance covered at 100%, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with employer contributions, commission share, profit share, Paid Time Off and sharing in the ownership of our organization.Requirements:Preferred five years of practical experience in similar position at an independent agency with underwriting and rating background; must have previous commercial Property & Casualty experienceRequires an ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriatelyMust be a self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving skillsMust embrace a client-focused, team mentalityMust be proficient in MS Office tools and insurance management systemsPrevious working knowledge of Applied Epic or similar insurance account management software is preferredEducation/LicensingHigh School diploma required; Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree is preferred; additional insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.) are preferredMust have an active Property & Casualty insurance license
