Position Overview:

Identify, communicate, and achieve all Divisional operational and financial goals.Manage the operating Division in a manner consistent with the Starlight Homes business philosophy, policies, and procedures.Provide high integrity, professional leadership, and management to both the operating division and corporate headquarters as appropriate.Major Functional Responsibilities:

To hire and lead functional managers who are technically competent, ethical, supportive of the overall corporation and able to manage their individual staff members well.Ensure that financial and operational goals are knowledgeably developed and achieved.Ensure a working environment that encourages employee loyalty, longevity, and satisfaction.Work collaboratively with peers and corporate staff as needed.Be a respected, high integrity role model for the local and professional communities as the Starlight Homes Representative.Other duties as assigned.Desired Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent years of directly related leadership experience with a production homebuilder.Master's Degree preferredEight years direct experience in a production homebuilding environment.Experience in at least two functional areas within home building strongly preferred, for example - construction and sales experience.Demonstrated success in the homebuilding industryComputer literacyValid/active driver's license requiredTypical Physical and Mental Demands:

Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Spanish language skills are helpful.Employees in the position are required to be able to hear and have vision sufficient to utilize all office equipment.Use of hands and fingers is required to utilize standard office equipment.Use of feet and legs required to walk, climb and maneuver within construction sitesRequires occasional lifting to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed in the field, i.e. home building construction sites and in a typical office environment and will involve the use of typical office environment using standard office equipment. Work is typically active in nature, but some sitting may be required. Fast paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority change and short notice activity.
