Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a Business Analyst who will directly support the Asset Management Team with its Facility Information Management System (FIMS), the real property corporate database for the United States Department of Energy. The business analyst will be responsible for understanding the structures, policies, requirements, and operations of LM's real property portfolio and reporting functions to enable the organization to achieve its goals and mission. The business analyst will deliver detailed analysis of business and information processes associated with LM's real property assets, support information system requirements, when requested provide project management assistance, and communications to integrate and improve the management of information to the organization.

Hiring Range: $ 75,000-$90,000 per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel 10-25% of the time.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollows appropriate procedures and manuals governing real property activities and responsibilities.Acts as a member of the Programs and Data System Support Team for providing coordination in the analysis of business processes that impact compliant management of the information lifecycle.Support LM and Team staff meetings conducted to support the analysis of business process with various stakeholders to include scheduling, facilitating, identifying participants, and capturing all finding to properly document the analysis process.Gathers, documents, and analyzes business processes and requirement, recommends changes and facilitates communication between stakeholders and the Asset Management Team.Supports annual real property data validations and Infrastructure and Facilities Information reporting, as well as other data calls from LM or DOE HQ.Conducts or supports various assessments to properly understand information systems within the asset management work such as FIMS data, system assessments and data calls, validation, and other assessments as needed.Assists business functional areas and site operations with defining functional and technical requirements to ensure information is accurate, accessed and used within FIMS and other information systems according to DOE regulations and Orders.Assists business functional areas and site operation with business process evaluation and documentation as necessary.Protects and identifies sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure according to Government regulations and guidance.Assist with identification of challenges and efficiencies related to job duties and suggests process improvements related to position, team, or department.Assists in creating policies and procedures as needed based on legal and regulatory obligations, business needs, and industry standards.Serve as lead for working groups, special projects, and initiatives as needed.Other duties as assigned.Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience

Understands primary principles, concepts, and techniques for managing information through all phases of the real property lifecycle.Resolve situations daily, utilizing problem-solving skills, and provide follow-up to both customers and management.Ability to perform complex professional tasks both independently and as a team and to analyze and develop innovative solutions to problems.Ability to work with broad objectives, with latitude, to determine the best way to accomplish tasks.Has the level of language skills, communications skills, reasoning ability, technical skills, and computer skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.Provide advice and guidance on the organization and utilization of assets, while ensuring practices adhere to recordkeeping standards.Advise teams on the application of asset management information policies and procedures, including creation, use, retention and disposition of content.Respond to ad hoc queries regarding information management within standard or negotiated timelines, while adhering to best practices for service quality.Provide input and support in the development and maintenance of enterprise information management policies and procedures.Provides superior professionalism and customer service.Advance computer skills including proficiency with M365 and Modern SharePoint.Advanced written and verbal communication skills.Assist in training of new employees as needed.Clearance and Health Requirements

Essential Physical Requirements
Light: Work involves moving objects by exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job/occupation is rated for light work when it requires (1) a significant degree of walking or standing, (2) mostly sitting while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls, or (3) working when the weight of the materials is negligible. (The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production-rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible).
