The RoleWe are looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products, maintaining delivery schedules, and upholding exceptional customer service standards. The role requires a passion for driving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to reliability.ResponsibilitiesLoad the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the dayInterpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabisWorking knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc)Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept, and manifests are returned completed and ready for filingMaintain positive, professional relationships with dispensary staffCommunicate timely and effectively when issues arise while making deliveriesOther duties as assigned by managementQualificationsAt least one years of professional driving experience preferredMust be 21 years or olderMust pass required background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and state specific cannabis employment requirementsMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMeet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needsMust have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendanceAdditional RequirementsMust have the ability to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to the duration of a workday)Move about the dispensary and delivery areas to fulfill work assignments and assist patients and/or customers in various locationsRemain in a stationary position, including in a motor vehicle, to meet the needs of the business and complete delivery tasks timelyConverse and communicate with individuals and groups of people directlyOperate point of sale system, computer, and other office productivity machinery in order to use online programming and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and emailPrepare patient and/customer orders by moving and placing productsInspect and receive detailed information, such as patients' and/or customers' dates of birth, in-store or online orders, or inquiriesMove inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independentlyPosition self to move inventory and materials in storage areasSkillsConsistent demonstration of excellent customer service skillsDemonstrated initiative and proactive attitude, as well as independent judgmentAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employeesAbility to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiencesPrevious experience with POS systemsUnderstanding of applicable cannabis laws and regulations, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, and standard operating proceduresBe able to follow instructions as directed and incorporate constructive criticism from managersOperate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPAA requirements.Working ConditionsAbility to work a 12-hour day when neededPatient and/or customer-facing environmentAbility to work outdoors invarying and sometimes adverse weather conditionsExposure to cannabis and/or allergens that might be present in an environment where cannabis is present and prevalent
